JSHS FAQ

We require 2D drawings (PDF/DWG/DXF) + 3D files (STEP/IGS/SLDPRT), material specification, quantity, surface treatment, tolerance requirements, lead time needs, and any special assembly or testing requirements.

Normally within 24 hours for standard parts; complex parts within 48 hours.

Quoting and DFM (Design for Manufacturability) analysis are free of charge.

Yes. We will review your design for wall thickness, undercuts, thread strength, tool accessibility, and cost optimization before production.

Yes, we can suggest optimized structures, tolerances, or materials to lower cost without affecting performance.

We support metals (aluminum, stainless steel, brass, copper, titanium, steel) and plastics (POM, PEEK, PEKK, PA, PC, ABS, PMMA, PET, PTFE, etc.).

Yes. We accept material certificates (Mill Test Certificate, RoHS, REACH) and can source standard international grades.

Standard tolerance: ±0.05 mm; high precision up to ±0.01 mm depending on part structure and size.

Yes, we follow ISO 2768, DIN, and ASME standards as required.

Due to the proprietary and competitive nature of projects we work on, we do not disclose a listing of our customers. However, we do regularly receive permission to share customer success stories. Read our success stories here.

We serve a variety of industries including medical device, automotive, lighting, aerospace, technology, consumer product, and electronics.

We currently have more than 70+ mills, lathes, 3D printers, presses, press brakes, and other manufacturing equipment. With our long history of growth, this number is always changing.

We accept most standard 3D and 2D files:

  • 3D formats: STEP, IGES, STP, IGS, SLDPRT, PRT (UG/Creo), IPT, CATPart
  • 2D drawing formats: DWG, DXF, PDF

For best accuracy and quoting speed, STEP + 2D drawing (PDF/DWG) is highly recommended.

Yes, we can produce parts even without 2D drawings or 3D models.

We offer:

• Reverse engineering & 3D scanning: Send us your physical sample, we will scan, measure, and build an accurate 3D model for machining.

• Custom design service: Provide hand-drawn sketches, photos, dimensions, or functional requirements. Our engineers will create CAD models for your approval.

• Part modification based on reference samples: We can redesign or resize based on your existing parts. All designs will be sent to you for confirmation before production.

Pricing for non-drawing machining includes two main parts:

1. Engineering & Design Fee

◦ Simple parts: charged hourly

◦ Complex parts: quoted per project

◦ Design fee can be partially or fully refunded against mass production orders.

2. Machining Cost

Calculated based on material, quantity, processes, and surface finishing, same as standard orders with drawings.

Customers are responsible for shipping costs of sample reverse engineering. All 3D models will be submitted for your approval before production.
